Twenty years of experience in administration, working at Petrobras as a Project Manager for large capital energy projects. Also worked in optimizing customer service delivery and supply areas at BR Distribuidora and as an investment advisor in the XP network. Experience in project management, preparing and making pitch presentations to stakeholders, project feasibility studies, market analysis, investment advisory, process mapping, and budget planning.

Letícia Souza

Executive Director of Amazonian Initiatives

Social Scientist and archaeologist with 16 years of experience in environmental licensing for socioeconomics impacts, restoration, traditional communities, cultural heritage, archaeology, intangible heritage, and heritage education; also worked at public institutions Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo (UFES) as a professor in the department of social sciences and Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN-MG), as an archeology analyst. Currently works as an independent socioenvironmental scientist and archaeologist.

Graduated in Audiovisual and Journalism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG/UVV), a Postgraduate in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo (PUC - SP), and a Master in Strategic Management from Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Has 24 years of professional experience in Marketing Management involving Political Marketing (VOX POPULI) and Cultural Marketing (ITAÚ CULTURAL). In exchange for Science Without Borders at the University of Victoria (UVIC), Strong international experience and collaboration with the Canadian Armed Forces and Greenpeace, working on fully sustainable ships such as The Rainbow Warrior. Coordinates marketing and visual arts projects that connect education, culture, science, nature, and technology. Teacher of the Federal Government's Mulheres Mil Program, who teaches Digital Marketing and Cultural Production at Samba schools in Rio de Janeiro.

Laszlo Paroczai, also known as LAZLO, is a Hungarian illustrator who is passionate about design. After completing his university studies in Budapest, he and his fiancée relocated to the U.S., where they’ve worked in hospitality for several years. Recently, Lazlo decided to follow his childhood dream of becoming a graphic designer and illustrator. In January 2024, Lazlo began collaborating with RFM Productions on the “Our Forest is in Your Hand” campaign, aimed at raising awareness for Amazon rainforest conservation. His vibrant illustrations feature local wildlife and Indigenous women holding the Earth, symbolizing the vital connection between humanity and the Amazon. The campaign was selected as a finalist in the Sustainability, Environment & Climate - Special Projects category at the Anthem Awards.

Screenwriter

Íris Chadi is a Brazilian documentarian. She worked as a screenwriter at MonkeyBusiness Studio, contributing to projects for major brands in the socio-environmental sector, such as IPE (Institute of Ecological Research), Ibema, Nazapack, Hiarq, and Biotech Amazônia. In recent years, she has written a documentary series on entrepreneurship for meuSucesso.com and independent productions, such as A Child Died, a web series about the impact of social and racial inequality on media coverage of infanticides.

With a strong foundation in environmental studies and legal expertise, Maxwell Souza tackles complex socio-environmental challenges through interdisciplinary research and analysis. Maxwell Souza leverages his expertise and combined legal and environmental nexus to contribute to impactful projects across diverse sectors

Outreach Manager

Francesca grew up on the Duke Children’s Campus and recently earned certifications from UCLA’s Emergency Medicine Program and the New York Film Academy. She has been involved in several short films, with some featured during Fashion Week, festivals, campaigns, product launch, classrooms and community events. At South Pasadena High, a visit to the Amazon Rainforest helped her reconnect with her Latin roots, sparking a deeper passion and concern for environmental advocacy. In 2024, Francesca co-launched Our Forest Is in Your Hand, a campaign now a finalist in the Anthem Awards’ Community Voice category. She serves as outreach manager for RFM Productions and is an outreach lead for the SkillsUSA club. Francesca also volunteers in Emergency Medicine, Neuroscience, Maternal Health, and Pet Therapy at Huntington Health, bringing her dedication to service, creativity and community services to life CPR-certified, American CPR Care Association issued May 18, 2024 to May 18, 2025

Rafaela Moura is a globally recognized leader with over two decades of experience in environmental regulation, public policy, economic development, and conservation. She has been honored by Duke University and Northeastern for her work in Latin America and by the United Nations for her inclusive growth policies and contributions to EPA’s environmental justice initiatives. As a champion of Amazon biodiversity, she leads efforts to promote sustainable and inclusive economic practices. A published author on community resilience and public consultation across Africa, Latin America, and the U.S., Rafaela’s passion for environmental protection was shaped by her upbringing in Tucuruí during the construction of the hydroelectric dam in the Amazon. Her expertise in public engagement, environmental best practices, and social equity informs her leadership, fostering collaboration with organizations, Indigenous communities, and global partners to create innovative, climate-resilient solutions for the region
